The second design was completed in the last week or so.....with a brand new DHTML navigational bar which suited the new site map proposed by Darren....However, due to another evaluation, it was found that the database still needs to be modified. So, another revision is underway. The navigational bar may also need to be redsigned because the navigational bar resets to its origianl unexpanded form when clicking to other parts of the page. More research was conducted to remdy this problem. So far, the only alternative is with the use of frames. By utilizing frames, this could bring additional design and layout problems to the site. More research should be conducted to see if there is a navigational bar which could pass some paramters from page to page to retain the unexpanded form. This is desireable because it would allow the browser to know exactly where they are at any point of the site.
