Tasks in progress - Performed additional research on instructional support. Completed the layout and the outline for the Instructor Support Research Report. Completed a strategy proposal for Skylight. Awaiting feedback.
Have conducted research on several websites that promote web learning objects. So far, Apple LEarning interchange provided the best layout for searching learning objects on the web.
Lydia Inc incorporates a centralized database system which allow the distributors to share their learning objects with others. This is done in a similar fashion as in Napster or Morpheous. One distinct advantage is that with Lydia, one is able to retain their intellectual rights to the learning object and have the option to sell the object for a set price.
The rest of the websites offer a link page with related resources listed. Most of the links do not appear to be dynamically generated. The interactivity between the browser and the web site can be further enhanced with the use of a forum.
