It has a basic layout but everything works!!! Total time taken is roughly 1 week. I have also started designing dynamic components that i will include in the template that Darren is designing fro the website. Now i am starting to analyse the survey results in excel.

Well, the third design is underway. I have designed all the cold fusion componets to the third phase. Since the database has changed significantly, much of the cold fusion code had to be rewritten. The front end of the site is scheduled to start sometime next week. I am finishing up the GUI interface to update the website dynamically. Challenges overcame during the GUI interface: linking to two or three tables at the same tim (nested queries), adding multiple rows of data on one submission, file uploading and deleteing, retaining variables for updating. The last part of the GUI interface is almost finished, however it may need a more attractive layout and look, but the interface is fully functional.

The second design was completed in the last week or so.....with a brand new DHTML navigational bar which suited the new site map proposed by Darren....However, due to another evaluation, it was found that the database still needs to be modified. So, another revision is underway. The navigational bar may also need to be redsigned because the navigational bar resets to its origianl unexpanded form when clicking to other parts of the page. More research was conducted to remdy this problem. So far, the only alternative is with the use of frames. By utilizing frames, this could bring additional design and layout problems to the site. More research should be conducted to see if there is a navigational bar which could pass some paramters from page to page to retain the unexpanded form. This is desireable because it would allow the browser to know exactly where they are at any point of the site.

completed the frontend of the site......continued revision with the survey form...the layout and the outline of the site has been completely revised so back to the design phase....database will be restuctureed so some of the cold fusion code has to be changed, and the navigation bar will be redesigned as well....the web interface will also be redesigned to match the new database structure....

Have completed most of the front end of the skuylight website....revised the survey in terms of formatting and some editing of questions and layout...

Completed the database schema and inputed into the Access database. Over 20 tables were created and over 150 fields were inputed and verified. Set up a meeting with Jessica on Wednesday to trouble shoot problmes with the dreamweaver/SSh channel. Contacted Alexei to include in our support circle
